In the years following prohibition, New York whiskey-makers were forced to head to the hills - 100 years later, we have returned to the City.

Buffalo Distilling Company is a New York State Farm Distillery with roots dating back to 1883 and is now Buffalo's first Bourbon Distillery. Located in the up and coming Larkinville neighborhood of Buffalo, NY we are using local corn, rye, wheat, barley and apples to craft our spirits - grain & juice to glass.

At Buffalo Distilling Co we are proud to create the finest hand-crafted, small-batch Bourbon, Moonshine, Brandy and Vodka in perfect harmony with Western New York's rich agricultural heritage.

Our Distillery and Cocktail Bar in the former Duchmann & Sons Carriage Mfg building opened in March 2017. Located in Buffalo's Larkinville, the 1890 Duchmann building is a stunning brick reminder of Buffalo's incredible industrial past.

Our One Foot Cock Martini Piano Lounge series continues tonight, Friday April 7th 530-8pm featuring musician extrordinaire Nelson Starr on the Piano Grande.

Nelson will be performing on the house grand and singing with our recently upgraded and fully Weberized house sound system.  The house system continues to evolve and improve weekly and Ann Philippone's 100 year old Knabe Grand Piano is slowly transforming into the "Muthaship" it was destined to become when it "rolled off the line" in Baltimore at the end of the 19th century.

Stop by for a listen, a taste and a One Foot Cocktail (ask Professor Roy about his Nothing Beets a OFC Martini special - there is no cover charge.

Martini Piano Lounge Begins Friday March 24th!!

Legendary Buffalo composer and keyboardist David Kane will play our first Martini Piano Lounge Happy Hour this Friday March 24th.

David Kane, who performed with and created David Kane's Them Jazzbeards, The David Kane Quartet (DKQ), Decay of Western Civilization, Electroman, Nullstadt, Trek With Quintronic, Celibates & more has been a creative force in the Buffalo music scene for decades and will perform electronic piano lounge for this show entitled "Music for Distillation".

The Piano Lounge Happy Hour runs from 530pm - 8pm, tasting room open at 430pm and there is no cover.

Beginning Friday April 14th, Buffalo Distilling Co will host The Martini Piano Lounge Happy Hour every Friday featuring David Kane, Ann Philippone, Brian the Entertainer, Nelson Starr, David Granville and more.

Join us for our Tasting Room and full cocktail bar Opening this Saturday, March 4th from 12pm - 6pm!  Enjoy our handcrafted cocktails dreamed up by our new Director of Hospitality and Pleasures, Roy Bakos.  The cocktails feature Buffalo Distilling Company's line of One Foot Cock libations as well as spirits from other local Buffalo Distilleries.  Take a look at the Distillery captured by Channel 4 on this past friday morning.

Roy Bakos named Director of Hospitality & Pleasures

Buffalo Distilling Co. is pleased to announce that Professor Roy Bakos has been named  Director of Hospitality and Pleasures at its new tasting room.

Roy has been a fixture in the Buffalo, NY bar & restaurant scene for over 20 years and most recently at the Pearl Street Grill & Brewery for the past 17 years.

Beloved by thousands personally, professionally and internationally, Roy brings a wealth of experience and personality to the new tasting room and distillery at 860 Seneca St. in Larkinville.
