In the years following prohibition, New York whiskey-makers were forced to head to the hills     - 100 years later, we have returned to the City.

Buffalo Distilling Company is a New York State Farm Distillery with roots dating back to 1883 and is now Buffalo's first Bourbon distillery.  Located in the Larkinville neighborhood of Buffalo, NY we are using local corn, rye, wheat, barley and apples to craft our spirits - grain & juice to glass.

At Buffalo Distilling Co we are proud to create the finest hand-crafted, small-batch Bourbon,  Apple Brandy and Vodka in perfect harmony with Western New York's rich agricultural heritage.

Stay tuned for the opening of our new Distillery and Tasting Room in the former Duchmann & Sons Carriage Mfg building starting in March.  Located at 860 Seneca St in Buffalo's Larkinville, the 1890 Duchmann building is a stunning brick reminder of Buffalo's incredible industrial past.

Open Saturdays to the public for Tastings, Tours, OneFootCocktails and Retail starting Saturday March 4th, 12 noon - 6pm!!

We are excited to announce that Roy Bakos has joined our family as DIrector of Hospitality and Pleasures!!   Come by and see Roy starting Saturday's in March and feel free to reach out to Roy for private events & tours at roy@bflodistilling.com .

In 1883 the Buffalo Distilling Co. distilled Golden Grain & Four C's Whiskey, rye and Old Tom Gin amongst the bustle of Buffalo, NY's cobbled streets... until the dark days of prohibition.

- A short 100 years later the Buffalo Distilling Co. returns to Buffalo's historic & happening Larkinville neighborhood to distill in the former Duchmann & Sons building at 860 Seneca St.

A  three story brick beauty, the Duchmann building was built in 1890 to manufacture horse carriages.  Using all three floors and a large flywheel and iron gear pulley system to raise and lower the carriages, Duchmann & Sons provided classic hand-made transportation at the end of the 19th century - the same time period just blocks away from the original Buffalo Distilling Co's location at William & Pratt Streets!

Construction is almost complete and we are open to the public starting Saturdays in March for tastings, tours, cocktails and purchases.

A full service tasting room with grand piano, private events available.  For all inquiries please contact us at info@bflodistilling.com

Were we raised in a barn?  Why, yes, we were and thank you for asking!  We will never forget our simple roots and beginnings in the Whiskey Barn in Bennington NY and we are bringing as much of it with us to Larkinville as we can. (left to right: Andy, Frank & Eric)
